Why put a porta potty at a house party?
Hosts in our calls gave the same reasons: they didn't want 60 people walking through the house, one bathroom couldn't keep up, or an older septic system couldn't take the load. One standard unit in the driveway solves all three.

How many toilets does a party need?
Plan one toilet per 50 guests for up to 4 hours, then add one per 100 for a longer day and one per 100 if drinks are served. Add a wash station when there's food, and an accessible unit if the party is in a public park.
Need it on site today?
Call before noon and dispatch can usually put you on today's truck. You get the full price — delivery, pickup, fuel, tax — before you pay.
Which units suit which party?
Casual cookouts and church picnics do fine with standard toilets. Showers, graduations and milestone birthdays usually move up to deluxe units with sinks. Park events open to the public need an accessible unit.
| Party | Guests | Suggested mix |
|---|---|---|
| Backyard birthday | 30–50 | 1 standard |
| Graduation open house | 60–100 | 2 deluxe with sinks |
| Family reunion with food | 100–150 | 3 standard + 1 wash station |
| Block party or park day | 200 | 4 standard + 1 accessible + 1 wash station |
Throwing the party in a Bridgeport park?
Events on city property need a permit from the Office of City Events at least 30 days ahead, and park events also go to the Board of Park Commissioners. Ask for a lock if the unit will sit overnight in a public park.

Questions callers asked about this
Where should it go if it's for a party in the backyard?
On level ground near the driveway, within about 15 feet of where the truck can stop, and away from the food. Mark the spot with a cone and leave a note.
Is one toilet enough for 60 people?
For a short party, one toilet plus a wash station handles about 60 guests if the line moves. For an all-day event, add a second unit.
There will be 120 people. What do you recommend?
For a 4-hour event, plan 3 standard units (1 per 50 guests, rounded up). Add a fourth if drinks are served, and make one of them accessible if the event is public.
Can I rent for a memorial at home without it looking out of place?
Yes. We deliver the day before and place the unit beside the driveway or garage, out of sight of the gathering. A wash station next to it is a kind touch for guests.
