What sets the price?
Six things set a porta potty price: the unit type, event versus 28-day billing, the drive from our yard, how often it's serviced, how many units share the truck, and timing — same-day and Saturday drops cost more.
| Factor | Effect on your quote |
|---|---|
| Unit | Standard < deluxe < accessible < restroom trailer |
| Billing | Events: one flat price · Monthly: every 28 days |
| Distance | Bridgeport and next-door towns cost least; Hartford area most |
| Servicing | Weekly included monthly; extra visits priced each |
| Quantity | Units on the same truck share one trip charge |
| Timing | Same-day rush and Saturday drops add a charge |
What should a complete quote list?
A complete quote lists the rental, the billing period, delivery and pickup, any fuel or card fee, included servicing and the price of extra visits, and Connecticut sales tax. If a company can't give you all of that on the phone, expect the invoice to be higher.
- Unit and quantity
- "Per event" or "per 28 days" — not "per month"
- Delivery and pickup, or "included"
- Fuel surcharge and card fee, if any
- Removal fee at pickup, if any
- Servicing included and the extra-visit price
- Sales tax, or the exemption applied
Price questions
Price ranges below come from what callers were quoted in the calls we reviewed — not a price list. Your written quote is the real number.
How much does a porta potty rental cost in Bridgeport?
It depends on the unit, the dates and the address. Across 150 rental calls we reviewed from 2025–2026, the most-quoted price for a standard event unit was $249, with quotes from about $190 to $420 before delivery, fuel and tax. Your written quote is the final number.
What does a monthly job-site toilet cost?
In those calls, monthly construction units ran about $190–$285 per 28-day cycle with weekly cleaning, plus a one-time delivery-and-pickup charge of roughly $35–$165. The second cycle costs less because the trip charge isn't repeated.
How much is the deluxe flushing unit with a sink?
Deluxe flushing units with a sink were quoted between about $367 and $629 for an event, including delivery. They sell out first on summer weekends.
What do restroom trailers cost?
Restroom trailers were quoted from about $1,400 for a small trailer to about $8,500 for a 10-stall trailer, including setup and teardown. The price depends on stalls, nights and whether we bring a generator or water.
Is that price per unit or for the total?
Rental prices are per unit. The delivery-and-pickup charge is usually once per trip, so two units on one truck cost less than twice one unit.
Are there any other fees with this?
Ask for the line-by-line quote. It shows the rental, delivery and pickup, any fuel charge, any card fee, extra cleanings and Connecticut sales tax. Nothing is added after you sign.
Do you charge Connecticut sales tax?
Yes. Connecticut taxes equipment rentals, so tax appears on the quote. Churches, schools, towns and other exempt groups pay no tax once we have their exemption certificate.
The invoice says more than you told me on the phone. Why?
It shouldn't. Every charge belongs on the quote you approve. If a number doesn't match, call us and we'll correct it before anything is charged.
