What's inside a standard porta potty?
A standard porta potty is a one-person plastic restroom with a seat over a roughly 60-gallon tank, a urinal, a toilet-paper holder, a sanitizer dispenser, a roof vent and a door latch that shows occupied. A standard porta potty needs no plumbing, so it goes anywhere our truck can reach.

Will it fit through my gate or down my driveway?
A standard porta potty is about 43.5 inches wide, so a 48-inch backyard gate works if the path is firm. Our service truck must still park within about 15 feet of the final spot, which is why most Bridgeport placements end up on the driveway apron or curb side of a lot.
43.5 in wide- 48-inch gate or wider: the driver can wheel it through
- Narrower than 46 inches: set it on the driveway instead
- 8 feet of clearance for the roof vent
- Level ground — plywood on soft lawns or wet clay
Need it on site today?
Call before noon and dispatch can usually put you on today's truck. You get the full price — delivery, pickup, fuel, tax — before you pay.
How is a standard toilet kept clean?
A standard toilet on a monthly rental is pumped, scrubbed, deodorized and restocked once a week on a fixed route day. A standard toilet rented for a weekend event arrives already sanitized with extra paper and is collected the next business day.

When should you skip the standard unit?
Skip the standard unit when guests are in formal clothes, when someone using a wheelchair is coming, or when more than about 50 people will share one toilet for a 4-hour event. A deluxe unit, an accessible unit or a second standard unit solves each of those.
| Your situation | Swap or add | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Wedding or dressy party | Deluxe flush + sink | Guests wash up inside the unit |
| Public event or park | Accessible unit | ADA §213.2: 5% of each cluster, at least 1 |
| Food or messy work | Wash station | Soap and water beat sanitizer |
| Over 50 people | A second standard unit | 1 toilet per 50 for 4 hours |
Questions callers asked about this
Can I move the toilet myself after it's delivered?
Only a few feet, and only while it's empty. If it ends up where the truck can't reach, the weekly service or pickup can be missed.
Does it come with a hand-washing station, or is it just the toilet?
A standard unit has a toilet, a urinal, toilet paper and a hand-sanitizer dispenser. For soap and water, choose the deluxe unit with a sink inside or add a two-sided wash station.
Do you provide toilet paper?
Yes. Every unit arrives stocked. Monthly units are restocked at each weekly visit; for long events we can leave extra rolls.
Is it lockable? I'm worried someone will use it overnight.
Yes. We can fit an outside hasp for a padlock or supply a combination lock. Public parks and empty job sites are where this matters most.
Is a construction porta potty cheaper than a party one?
Usually. Monthly construction units are priced for long stays with weekly service. Event units are our newest units, kept for parties, and priced per event.
