When should the toilet arrive?
For a planned shutoff, the business day before the water goes off. For an emergency, call before noon for same-day delivery. A 3–4 day shutoff is normally priced as a single rental.
How many toilets does a household need?
One standard toilet covers a family for a few days. Add a wash station if there are small kids or anyone cooking, because the kitchen sink is off too.
What about a business?
A business usually can't stay open without restrooms. Plan one toilet for every 10 to 20 people on site and a wash station for staff. Food plants, nursing homes and clinics should check with their inspector first.
